Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, especially in the evenings near the fireplace in the drawing room, although a bit cramped with the wardrobe placement. The service was fantastic, with Debbie being exceptionally amazing. The location exceeded my expectations, set on a beautiful lake with stunning gardens. The dining experience was supreme, offering an amazing buffet and an Al la carte menu. The facilities were top-notch, and the overall value for money was excellent.
Staying at this hotel was a mix of charming and uncomfortable experiences. While the room with a little private garden was a lovely sight to behold with its historical charm and modern comforts, the heat accumulation on the top floor made it extremely hot at times. The service, coupled with a magical location in a beautiful arts & crafts period house, was beyond attentive and excellent, especially Jeremiah was always pleasant and helpful. The location, with spectacular views from every angle, was magnificent and wonderfully tranquil for our National Park hiking. The dining experience, though humble compared to other facilities, offered individually cooked meals and a supreme experience.
The hotel boasts high-quality rooms with comfortable amenities but lacks a TV. The service is kind and attentive, though there were delays in receiving some food items. The location is convenient for exploring the Ring of Kerry and offers serene surroundings. The dining experience, while good, could be enhanced with more variety. Overall, a charming stay with minor room temperature issues.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had a lovely feature of their own little garden area and a patio with beautiful views over the gardens, but they were small and stuffy with no option to open the window. The service was exceptional, with the staff being incredibly accommodating and helpful. The location was stunning, offering beautiful views and a serene atmosphere, but the dining experience, albeit delicious, was a bit limited. Overall, a charming place with its ups and downs.
